Election clerks, inspectors needed for Veterans Memorial Election

On Nov. 5, voters will select a new director for the South Santa Clara Valley Memorial District, a district that falls within Santa Clara County and serves the non-medical social needs of veterans residing in the area. Gilroy is the only incorporated city within the district and includes about 40 percent of the district’s population.

The Santa Clara County Public Health Department is inviting all members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community living in the county to fill out a survey that will help with its newest health assessment.
