title Tuesday with a 15-8 victory over Interstate Fence-Dee’z Nutz
at Christmas Hill Park.
Gilroy – Danger clinched the regular-season Men’s Fall C League softball title Tuesday with a 15-8 victory over Interstate Fence-Dee’z Nutz at Christmas Hill Park.
Steve Martinez went 4-for-4 and scored four runs as Danger improved to 6-1. The Fence is second with a 4-3 mark and one game left in the season.
Bnejie Casarez went 3-for-3 and scored three runs for Danger. Mike Leslie drove in three Danger runs with a pair of doubles. Greg Lucio went 3-for-4 for Interstate-Dee’z.
Talamo Foods remained in playoff position with a 14-12 victory over Jus 2 Party.
Tomas Carrillo went 4-for-4 and scored four runs for 3-4 Talamo Foods. Jose Bueno slapped a triple, double and single for the winners. Danny Pequeno went 4-for-5 and scored four Jus 2 Party runs.
Czar Construction is 3-4 after a forfeit win over Kaeding Performance.
Team Whaaat toppled C&R Communications 8-7 Tuesday to remain in a first-place tie in the Men’s Fall CC League standings at Las Animas Park.
E. J. Mendoza’s RBI-single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave Whaaat at 6-1 mark entering the final game of the regular season. Mendoza paced the Whaaat offense with three hits.
James Furtado lashed a two-run home run and Raul Gracia doubled and singled for the winners.
Brian Rudolfs stroked a double and two singles, driving in two C&R runs. Chris Bowles lined an RBI-single with two out in the top of the seventh to pull C&R (3-4) even at 7-7.
Team Pipe-Net is also 6-1 after a 7-0 nod over Five Star Motors. John Batanich went 3-for-4 for the Pipers. J. P. Perez went 2-for-3 for Five Star Motors.
Los Gigantes moved into third place at 4-3 with a 16-12 victory over Pro Electric.
Mike Montenegro homered and Matias Franco went 4-for-4 for Los Gigantes.
Mike Sandoval hit for the cycle and scored four runs to lead the Pro Electric attack. David Zabala went 3-for-3 and scored three Pro runs.
