Awards.
GILROY – Articulate Solutions, a marketing and graphic design agency based in Gilroy, received three 2004 Print Media Communicator Awards.
The national award organization recognized Articulate Solutions for three projects in the categories of brochure design, business-identity stationary design and photography.
The designer, Katherine Filice, principal/owner of Articulate Solutions, took home the highest honor, “The Crystal of Excellence Award,” for her work with a local company, Business Builders LLC, which included designing the company trademark and overall stationary package.
Additionally Filice, received two “Awards of Distinction,” which recognized her brochure design, developed for local motocross racing team, Fifth Gear Racing, along with her photography and illustration work, developed for a local wireless technology company, Vox One/Bluespoon.
The Communicator’s prestigious “Award of Excellence” is presented to entrants “whose ability to communicate places them among the best in their field.” The “Award of Distinction” recognizes projects that “exceed industry standards in communicating a message or idea” and are intended to recognize “companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.” Filice placed against thousands of entries from across the country as well as internationally.
