Diane Barbaria passed away peacefully at her home and joined our Lord, on August 10, 2010, in Morgan Hill at the age of 72.
Diane is survived by her daughter Lauren Nelson of Fresno, son Michael Barbaria of Gilroy, daughters Susan Kofnovec and Sandra Rathi of Gilroy, sons-in-law Wes Rathi and Mike Kofnovec of Gilroy, and son-in-law Rick Nelson of Fresno. In addition, Diane is survived by granddaughters Shannon and Lindsay of Fresno, grandsons Dennis, Scott, Michael and Adam of Gilroy, and five great-grandchildren Andrew, Lauren, Hailey, Katelyn and Naomi all of Fresno. She is also survived by her ex-husband and dear friend Carmelo Barbaria and Evonna Applewhite a very close family friend.
Diane loved life and had a great passion for cooking, doll collecting and shopping. She loved all animals especially dogs. Her children’s dogs Jessica, Whitney, Shelby, Jessie, and Jamey will all miss their grandma and the special treats that she always remembered to prepare for them.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service to be held on Saturday, August 14, 11:00 A.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey St., Morgan Hill, CA and a reception following at Hacienda Estates Mobile Home Park 275 Burnett Rd. Morgan Hill
