Help prevent disasters
GILROY – The South County Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness Program, which trains people to survive and thrive in an emergency or disaster, is hosting a fund raiser at Chevy’s, at 8440 Murray Ave., today. Twenty percent of the proceeds from lunch, dinner, and takeout will be donated to help upgrade educational and training equipment. Details: 776-1225.
