City info via phone
GILROY – Residents can now call the ‘Information Express,’ a 24-hour telephone access system that connects callers to general city information. The system allows callers to access information on subjects from building and construction to utilities. A ‘fax on demand’ feature also allows residents to get forms such as building permits and water and sewer rates via fax. A brochure which explains the system and codes will be sent with the June utility bills. Brochures are also available at the Gilroy City Hall, Library and Museum. To access the touch-tone system call 846-9588.

Shifts are four to five hours, depending on the job, both in the morning and afternoon. Please respond ASAP to Diane Baty with your name, address, phone number and preferred day and time at 848-1430 or di*******@*****il.com.
