Art of Living comes to Gilroy

Gilroy – The Art of Living course, where an ancient breathing technique combined with meditation and several mild yoga exercises, is now coming to Gilroy. Students of the Art of Living six-day course say the breathing technique can bring greater awareness, a fuller and happier life, less stress, greater mental focus and a bevy of other health benefits.

The Art of Living chapter has just started its programs in Gilroy, beginning Thursday, June 1, to Tuesday, June 6.

AARP safe driving classes

Gilroy – The nations first and largest classroom refresher course for motorists 50 and older. Participants will familiarize themselves with driver safety and new laws. Three-year DMV certificates will be awarded for discounts on your own auto insurance, upon completion of this one-day program. No tests – course, class materials, and instructor are provided by AARP. There is a minimal DMV certificate fee. The next class is June 10 in Morgan Hill.

Register now for Gav classes

Gilroy – New students, returning students and high school students may register now for summer and fall classes at Gavilan College. Summer session starts June 19, and Fall Semester starts on Sept. 5.
