With light-up reindeer frozen mid-leap, inflatable Santas showered with fake snow and multi-colored lights strung from eaves, there is no question the holiday season has arrived.
Still, the question remains: which house is the most decked-the-halls out?
In a continuation of seasonal tradition, the Gilroy Dispatch will be hosting a competition to decide which houses are the best decorated. The Dispatch will be accepting e-mail submissions through 5 p.m. Monday.
Entries should include only one digital photo of the house and a description – no longer than two sentences – about the unique aspects of the decorations. Entries should also have the name of the person or family submitting, the address of the house and a contact phone number. Only the address will be published.
The homes will be featured in the Thursday, Dec. 20 paper. In addition, all submissions will be incorporated into a driving map of area houses, which will also be published Wednesday.
