GILROY – Don’s Vending scored four runs in the final inning to defeat Immpalas Car Club 10-7 in Women’s C League play Wednesday at Gavilan Sports Park.

Laurie Keehn and Lydia Cano each singled and scored in the decisive rally to leave Don’s Vending at 3-0 atop the seven-team team along with Let’s Do This.

Ermelinda Garcia roped a triple and double, scoring twice for the Vendors. Megan Myrick contributed a two-run single. Kim Lopez went 3-for-4 and Stephanie Diaz scored two runs for Impalas Car Club (2-2).

Franny Lopez, Anita Garza and Jodi Mendez each scored three runs to propel Let’s Do This past M. Rizzo Landscaping 13-11. Lopez homered and Mendez clubbed a run-scoring triple as Let’s Do This scored six runs in the third inning foir a 10-7 lead.

Mendez finished with three triples and Lopez went 3-for-4. Melanie Fajardo went 4-for-5 and Kelly Kramer lined three singles for the Landscapers.

Esmeralda Hernandez singled and scored on an infield grounder in the second inning with the deciding run as Goldsmith Seeds trimmed Kay’s Kids 4-1.

Emily Hernandez and Esmeralda Hernandez each collected two hits and scored twice for the Seeds. Paula Stewart singled and doubled for the winners. Martha Sanchez singled and doubled for Kay’s Kids.

The Energizers and M&M’s each posted a shut-out Wednesday to remain tied for first place in the Women’s D League at Christmas Hill Park.

Missy Hice went 4-for-4 and scored four runs as M&M’s defeated Michael’s Mufflers 17-0 in the opener. Joanna Hernandez accounted for the Michael’s Muffler hit.

Darcy Daniels scored four runs as the Energizers topped the Angels 13-0. Stefani Wheat and Shelly Schmidt each crunched two singles for the Angels.

Handmade Healthcase clinched a tie for the first-half Men’s D League title Wednesday at Las Animas Park with a 20-6 decision over the Dirty Dozen.

Mike Peternal hit a triple and three singles, scoring four runs for the 4-0 Healthcare club. Art Garcia went 2-for-3 and scored twice for Dirty Dozen.

Joel Gaeta hit two home runs, K.C. Davidson added a two-run shot and Juan Contreras a solo blast as Los Chilotes (2-2) defeated Aladdin Bail Bonds-Fermin’s Appliance Service 14-12. Ruben Moreno went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Norm MacVicar went 3-for-3 for Aladdin-Fermin’s.
