Marie Edna Kirby, beloved wife of the late Jack Kirby passed away at Hazel Hawkins Hospital on July 26th, 2012, at the age of 86 years. Edna was a native of Chico, CA and a San Benito County resident since 1975.
 and Jack were married 63 years at the time of his passing on April 8th, 2012, of this year.
 Surviving Edna are Pat Kirby of Oakdale, Tim Kirby of Tres Pinos, and Shana Strohn (husband Gene) of Paicines; grandchilderen Blair and Blane Strohn; brother James Atkins; many nieces and nephews.
 She was pre-deceased by brothers Charlie and Jerry Atkins and sisters Janis McGann, Barbara Atkins, and Kathryn Saunders.
 Funeral services are pending at the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home. The date and time will be announced on their website. Donations are preferred to Cystic Fibrosis, to Immaculate Conception Church, or to the San Benito County Cattlewomen’s Scholarship Fund c/o the mortuary chapel 870 San Benito St., Hollister.
