Eric Lee Patterson November 22, 1947 – April 27, 2012 Eric Patterson, age 64 passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on April 27, 2012. Eric was born in Santa Ana and was raised in Solvang.
 He moved to Gilroy where he raised his seven children Ginger Somera, Jennifer Howell, Christi Turner, Colleen Patterson, Janeen Patterson, Eric Patterson and Matthew Patterson.
 He recently moved to Hollister where he retired from a proud trucking career of 35 years. He enjoyed astronomy, gardening, riding his Harley and spending time with his family.
 Eric will be remembered for his devoted love to his family, his keen sense of humor, contagious laugh and sincere devotion to his faith.
 Visitation will be Thursday, May 3rd, 2012, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. with the Rosary at 7:00 at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. The funeral Mass will be at St. Benedicts Church, Friday May 4th, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilroy, followed by a reception at Las Animas Park in the oak tree area, Gilroy.
 Donations are preferred to St. Benedicts Church c/o the funeral home.
