Evelia Guzman de Nunez was born Sept. 26, 1929, in Nochistlan Zacatecas, Mexico.
Her parents were Refugio and Maria de los Angeles Guzman. She had five brothers and six sisters: Antonio, Margarito, Sabino, Ampelio, Refugio, Guadalupe, Teresa, Isabel, Nicolasa, Margarita and Rosa. Her husband was Rudy Nunez. She was a member of the Light of the World Church. She never had any children, but she had many nephews and nieces that loved her very much. She will always be remembered with lots of love. She left them a beautiful example of love and kindness.
The family held a service at Habing Family Funeral Home on Sunday. Graveside service was held on Monday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine.
