Native Jewelry-making Class 10 a.m.-noon – Join members of the Amah Mutsun tribe to make traditional Ohlone-style earrings with shell beads and pine nuts. Discover how the Amah Mutsun, the original people of Chitactac, lived in balance with nature. $5 materials fee per person. The park is located on Watsonville Rd. at Burchell Rd. in Gilroy. Night Prowlers Equestrian Ride 6-9:30 p.m. – Join a Mounted Ranger on a 5-mile evening ride to discover the habits & adaptations of creatures that come out at night. You must provide your own horse & equipment (breast collars & lead ropes required for all horses, helmets required for riders under 18), no rentals available.
