Gilroy High kicked off the second half of Mount Hamilton Division play with a 4-1 decision over Presentation on Thursday in San Jose.
“It felt a little closer than the score,” GHS head coach Adam Gemar said. “They were pretty good. I’m happy we started the second half with a win.
The Mustangs (5-3 division) have now won three straight.
Emma Leach scored twice (from Monica Marrazzo) on short corner tries in the first half. Katrina Carter led Morgan Rogers on a breakaway for the third tally. Rogers then assisted Marrazzo for the Mustangs’ fourth goal.
