For the second time is as many games, the Gilroy High varsity field hockey team found itself in an overtime situation.

And for the second time, the Mustangs pulled out the win.

Two days removed from a 2-1 triumph over previously undefeated St. Francis, the Mustangs toppled Presentation – another Mount Hamilton Division foe – 3-2 in San Jose on Friday.

Monica Marrazzo scored the game winner in the 7-versus-7, seven minute overtime period with a reverse shot.

Katrina Carter and Kristina Chuck tallied the other goals on short-corners.

The Mustangs have now won three in a row (3-1-2 Mount Hamilton.)
