Frances Colleen Houseweart passed away in Salinas at the age of 82. She was born in Yakima, WA and moved to Hollister in 1992 from Santa Nella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Houseweart who died in 1989.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Vivian “Timi” and Teo Gonzalez of Turlock, Pamela Hatch of Hilmar and Christina and Richard Lamb of Hollister, her sisters, Carol Schell of Las Lunez, New Mexico and Patricia Goodwin of Modesto. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Cremation will be followed by private family inurnment.
Donations are preferred to a charity of choice.
