 Fred “Sonny” Amoroso died on February 13th, 2013, in San Jose.
 He is survived by his two children, Kimberly and Michael, and his granddaughter Audrey Strickland.
 A native of California, Fred was a resident of Morgan Hill for 51years. He was a former professional boxer, worked as a probation officer for the city of San Jose, was a member of the Tea Party movement and an active participant in Morgan Hill politics.
