The Gilroy Rotary Club Scholarship and Awards Program is offering $18,000 in college aid for high school seniors and Gavilan College graduates.
These include four general $1,000 scholarships, two general $2,500 scholarships, and one scholarship worth up to $9,000 and designed for students pursuing floriculture, horticultre, plant science, biology or similar fields. Applicants must be living in Gilroy or attending a Gilroy school, have an excellent record of community service or extra-curricular activities, and graduate high school or Gavilan in June with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in the past two years.
