win over Monterey for sixth place in the TCAL Tournament.

The sixth-seeded Mustangs shutout the seventh-seeded Toreadors 16-0 at Live Oak Saturday.
“Monterey had no subs,” said Gilroy head coach Tom Clark. “I give those guys a lot of credit for hanging in there the whole game.”
Daniel Shields and Austin Gubrud each had three goals for the ‘Stangs. Nick Cantelli, Scott Castruita and Sam Whitaker had two goals apiece white Mitch Barnett, Eric Bowe, Kyle Dixon and Andrew Mantilla each had one.
