Gilroy Community Health Day will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rebekah’s Children’s Services, located at 290 IOOF Ave. in Gilroy.
The event is a collaboration between the Gilroy Unified School District, Community Solutions, St. Louise Hospital and the Santa Clara Public Health Department.
More than 30 community organizations will be in attendance to give out information and freebies to visitors. GUSD District Nurse Eileen Obata said an average of 500 to 600 people attend the event, which is targeted towards the underinsured.
