Dear Editor,
It is time for the Gilroy City Council to contact the state

Gilroy’s administrative and planning Departments. The citizens of
Gilroy need a neutral party to investigate why our city is out of
control.
The city council should put on hold all planning projects until

Dear Editor,

It is time for the Gilroy City Council to contact the state Attorney General’s office and ask them to investigate the City of Gilroy’s administrative and planning Departments. The citizens of Gilroy need a neutral party to investigate why our city is out of control.

The city council should put on hold all planning projects until such investigation takes place. The majority of all the problems at city hall go back directly to the planning department.

We need a new city administrator, city attorney, planning director and community development department head. The city council was elected, and when their terms are up the voters will decide who should retain their seats. The city council needs to stop the retreats with the high-priced facilitator. The retreats only help the city administrator control the majority of the city council.

The citizens do not need a city council controlled by the city administrator. The council should run the city, not the city administrator. The city administrator is hired to oversee the various departments, but right now it looks like the city council crowned him king.

It is a sad day in America when the local county, state and federal governments think they don’t have to answer to the citizens. Maybe if the city would open up the personnel commission and the city council hearings in the Rex Wyatt termination, we would not be on the hook for a $1 million plus dollars – “what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive.”

Thank you Gilroy Dispatch for making the citizens aware of what is happening with their tax dollars at city hall.
