Gilroy Little League opens season on Saturday

The Gilroy Little League will host opening day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Christmas Hill Park. 
Games will begin at 11 a.m. and food will be available from Dutchman’s Pizza, Kona Ice, Mansmith, Taco Truck and more. 
GLL will begin its parade of teams at 2:45 p.m. and is expected to end around 4 p.m.
In addition to the baseball and softball games, there will be water balloon tosses, a scavenger hunt, face painting and raffle prizes.
