Michael Dennis Dennehy, D.D.S.

Dr. Michael Dennis Dennehy, 56, died after a prolonged battle with depression. Mike went to great lengths to protect his friends and family from knowing the intensity of his personal suffering and succumbed to his illness on May 5, 2009.

Robert H. Correa

Roberto H. Correa, 62, of Hollister, following a long illness, died peacefully at Stanford Hospital on May 6, 2009. He was surrounded by his family who will miss him dearly. He was born on November 27, 1946 in Zacatecas, Mexico; the son of Catarino Correa and Consuelo Haro Correa. He was one of 15 siblings, seven of whom reside in Hollister, CA. Robert was a foreman for Bertuccio Farms in Hollister for many years. He was always happiest spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and working in his vegetable garden. He is predeceased by his brother Arthur Correa and brother-in-law Ronnie Villegas. Survivors include his mother Consuelo H. Correa, father Catarino Correa, children Robert Jr. (Guillermina), Albert (Laura Rodriguez), and Debbie Loza (Steve), grandchildren Philip, Darren, Deja, Rachel, Angel, Stefanie, Clinton and Nathan; brothers Tony (Rosie), Javier, Catarino Jr., Mario (Janice) and Jesse; sisters Lupe, Delia, Elida (Bobby) and Esperanza (Henry), and many beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, May 15th at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church 5th & College Sts., Hollister, with a pot-luck reception to follow at 3041 Lemmon Ct., Hollister.Visit: www.grunnagle.com for condolences.

Passed away in Hollister at the age of 73.

David Andrew Weingartner

David Andrew Weingartner passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at St. Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy, CA. David was born and raised in Binghamton, NY where he graduated from Binghamton Central High School. After earning his Associate's Degree from Broome Technical Community College he worked for the Ansco Company before joining IBM in Endicott, NY. In 1966, he moved to San Jose, CA where he worked as a Project Manager for IBM until his retirement in 1991 after 35 years of service.

Robert Wade Pauley

Robert Wade Pauley passed away suddenly at his residence April 30th, 2009, at the age of 44 years. Robert was a native of San Jose, CA living there for 28 years. He graduated from DeAnza College and attended San Jose State College where he played football for the Spartans. He was a veteran of the military service, serving with the U.S. Army in Germany. Upon his honorable discharge as a Sargeant, he and his wife Irma settled in Tracy for 12 years where Robert was employed as a Corporate Loss Prevention Manager for several retail stores. Four years ago, he and his family settled in San Benito County.

Donald Carl Adamson

Long time Gilroy resident, Donald C. Adamson, passed away at the age of 79, on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2009 at his home in Blair, NE after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Don spent many years in California but had called Nebraska home since 1996.

Valerie Jean McCown

Mom passed suddenly April 30th, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. She was survived by her children Lynda (Bryan) Sloss, Tony (Cindy) McCown, grandchildren Stacee Davis, Nick VanLone (Samantha Moody), Timothy McCown and great-granddaughter Kourtney Rambeau. Mom retired to Morgan Hill in 1997 where she was an active member of her Cottage Green Community. She not only enjoyed the Bingo, Bunko and Birthday Club, she was also a board member of the HOA.

Leonard (Lynn) Wayne Yates

Lynn was born in Salinas, CA on February 7, 1942 and died April 30, 2009 in a tractor accident on his Hollister ranch. He was the oldest child of Clemia Wyrick and Lawrence Donald Yates. He is survived by his wife Lorene, sons Zachariah Wayne and Karl Wayne of Hollister , and his daughter Edith Cordelia and her husband Yiping Lim of Singapore. He is also survived by his sister, Kasey Allen of Hot Springs, AR and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
