Ralph D. Martin
Born July 6, 1935 and entered into rest March 16, 2009 in Oakdale CA. Mr. Martin lived in the Salinas/Castroville area most of his life before moving to Gilroy in 1997 and then Valley Springs in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Vlinda Martin, daughters Kimberly Casarez of Salinas, Tammy Martin of Yuba City and son Michael Martin of Cading, KY. Other survivors include seven grandsons, three granddaughters , two great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents Josephine and Ralph M. Martin and grandson Jason Amaya.

Claire is survived by her mother, Francis Bolfing and many loving friends. Memorial service will be March 24, 2009 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Chapel in Gilroy, CA

Elmer Righetti passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009 in Salinas at the age of 92. He was born and lived in Hollister and was a local orchardist all his life. Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Council #1492 and the Hollister Elk's Lodge.
Rose Mary Laveroni
Rose Mary Laveroni passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at her home in Ridgemark. Rose Mary was born and lived in Hollister all her life and was a graduate of Hollister High School. She had worked for many years for the Pacific Telephone Co. in Hollister. Rose was a avid golfer and member of Ridgemark Golf & Country Club, Bolado Golf Club, Ridgemark Womens Club and a former volunteer and director of the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Auxiliary.
Salvador G. Cuevas
Entered into rest peacefully at home on March 15, 2009 at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Julia Cuevas for 54 years. Loving Godfather of Jesse Martinez; dearest brother of Juan, Miguel & Nocencio "Blackie" Cuevas; dear uncle to numerous nieces & nephews. He will be missed by his special and loyal dog, Baby. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Gilroy.

William John Flodberg
William John Flodberg passed away March 16, 2009. He is survived by his wife Sheila; stepchildren Michael, Fran and Diane; and his sister Caryl of Santa Rosa. Preceded in death by his brother Ted and sister Phyllis.
Thomas Alvis (Tom) Martin
Thomas Alvis (Tom) Martin went to be with our Lord on March 6, 2009. He was born April 25, 1915, in Haskell, TX, to the late Oscar C. and Ola Cameron Martin. Tom grew up in Marlow, OK before moving to Morgan Hill, CA, where he established several successful cleaning businesses as well as a working horse and cattle ranch. Later, he retired and he and his wife, Marjorie, moved to Texas. Tom loved and collected Singer Featherweight Sewing Machines and established many friendships through this endeavor. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Emmett Martin, Kay Martin, Finas Martin, and Delbert Martin. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie McBride Martin of Flint, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Shirley Martin of Odessa, TX; son, Richard Martin of Fallon, NV and friend, Kathy Graves; Step-daughter, Susan Petersen of Monterey Peninsula, CA; Step-daughter Vivian Violet of Santa Maria, CA; eight grandchildren; six great-grandghildren; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
