Linda C. West

Linda C. West passed away Feb. 14th at the age of 66 years. She was the loving wife of Larry S. West for 45 years. The beloved mother of Lisa Miller, spouse of Raymond Jr. of Madison, CT and Lana Filhaur, spouse Glen of Tres Pinos, CA, cherished Nana of Brianna and Lindsay Miller of Madison CT. She was predeceased by parents Arnold and Bernice Dare of Stockton, CA. A native of Long Beach, Linda was raised in Stockton. Linda and Larry lived in San Jose before retiring to Hollister. Linda owned and operated "Linda's Place Preschool" in Morgan Hill for over 19 years. She was Past President of the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered in the gift shop.

Josephine departed this earth on Valentine's Day to be with her loving husband, Adolph, of 72 years, who predeceased her in 2003. Loving mother of Betty (Richard) Harvey of Morgan Hill. Devoted grandmother of Jackie (Doug) Hummel of Half Moon Bay, Ken (Annette) Merck of San Francisco, Karen (Peter) Paulhe of Los Banos, and Janet Delfino of Morgan Hill. Proud great-grandmother of Abraham, Lisa, Michael, Marie and David, and great-great-grandmother of Dylan. Josephine touched many lives with her warm and loving disposition. She always had a sparkle in her eye and loved to share in laughter. Her bright spirit lives on in all our hearts and she will be dearly missed. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 5-8 P.M. with a vigil service to commence at 7:00 P.M., both at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine Parish, 17400 Peak Avenue in Morgan Hill. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Josephine's honor to the American Diabetes Association.

Edward Francis Prindle died at the age of 90 in Hollister. He was preceded in death by Pauline, his beloved wife of 50 years and is survived by 3 daughters, Susan Prindle of Portland, OR, Leslie Prindle-Klein of Cupertino and Janet Myers of Hollister, sons-in-law, Bill Klein and Gary Myers. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Kammerer; loving mother of Allen Kammerer and wife Lynne of London, Bobbi Wolff and husband Don of Rohnert Park and the late Larry Kammerer; adored grandmother of Geoff, Meghan, Kristin, James, Justin and Madison; great-grandmother of Jaden, Anna, and Avery; dear sister of Winnie Briscoe of Morgan Hill; a native of Napa, CA, age 78. A resident of South Valley since 1972.

Raymond C. Barragan, age 71, founder of Golden Memorial Insurance and Barragan Insurance Marketing passed away in Salinas. Ray started his insurance career in 1962 and instantly became a top producer. He was ready for another challenge and soon started recruiting other agents. This was the start of Golden Memorial Insurance Agency. Today the agency consists of more than 300 agents from California to West Virginia. The agency has been the top agency of Lincoln Heritage Life for the last two decades. He served on the board of directors of Londen Insurance Group. The Golden Memorial Insurance Agency was his pride and joy. The passion Ray had for his business was the secret of his success. He had a competitive but friendly drive that led to success in both his professional and personal lives.

Herbert McCoy Edde

Herb Edde was born in Santa Paula, CA to Grace and Harry Edde. Herb and his wife, Edith, have lived in Gilroy since 1957. He graduated from Santa Paula High School and entered the Army during WWII. He was shipped out to the European Theater in the 69th Infantry. He partricipated in the clean up after the Battle of the Bulge.
