Romano passed away in Morgan Hill, CA, on January 23, 2008. His life spanned three countries and two continents as he touched the hearts and lives of many. His beloved wife Elvira, loving sons, Giovanni, Walter and adoring grand-son Luca mourn his loss and celebrate his life and his devotion to his family. Along with their wives Mary and Lorena and families and friends, they will pay their respects and say good-bye on Tuesday, February 29th at 1:00 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home in Morgan Hill.
Claude Westmoreland, 77, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008. Born in Fresno, CA, Claude resided in Morgan Hill for 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Evelyn; sons, Mike (Donna), Tim (Laura) and Dan, and granddaughters, Crystal (Avid), Tiffany, Tracey, Katie Mae and Danielle Westmoreland. He also leaves behind a sister, Marlene Powell.
Ramona H. DeAnda passed away in San Francisco. She was born in Madrid, New Mexico and came to San Juan Bautista in 1950. She lived in Madera since 1990. She was a member of Mission San Juan Bautista parish and she is preceded in death by her husband, Cayetano, who died in 2003. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Efren DeAnda (Paula) of Gustine, Cayetano DeAnda, Jr. of San Jose, Rosie Cortez (Salvador) of San Juan Bautista, Jesse DeAnda of Fresno, Johnny DeAnda of San Jose, Pauline DeAnda of Madera, Margie Rubio (Mark) of Salinas, Ramona DeAnda of Fresno, Patricia Pasillas (Abel Carrillo) of Tracy, Anna Ramos of Gilroy, Lisa Lechuga (Robert) of Hollister, Trini DeAnda (Denise Soria) of Madera and Lorraine Hernandez (Ralph) of Merced, and Tony DeAnda (Lorraine) of Tracy, her brother, Joe Herrera of Newark and her cousin, Mary Lupe Cantu of Hollister. She is also survived by her 62 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Eddie DeAnda who died in 2002.
Nancy Cameron Nissen, of Morgan Hill, passed away peacefully after a long illness. She was born in East Orange, New Jersey, and is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph, and her children, Bob, Dave, Peter, Ted and Susan; and her step-son, Jeff. She had thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Moses T. Espinoza passed away in Hollister at his home. He was born in Newark, CA and came to Hollister from Madera 54 years ago. He served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked in carpentry for Frank Cembellin and he also worked for San Benito Foods. He was a longtime member of The Church of God of Prophecy in Hollister. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah, who died in 2005.
Paul R. Hegg passed away in Hollister at the age of 63. He is the son of Harriet Hegg of Hollister. Private cremation with inurnment at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
