Deborah Ann Rotolo died Wednesday the 28th of November in San Martin, California, after a long and brave struggle with cancer. Debbie was born in San Jose, CA ,on September 2nd, 1956. She was preceded in death by her mother Virginia, grandmother Marion Econ, grandfather Jim Butler, step-grandmother Vi Butler and cousin Mark Rotolo. Debbie is survived by her daughter Jenna, father and step-mother Sam and Theresa Rotolo, brother Jeff Rotolo, sisters Jean Rotolo and Carol Clevett, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She will be remembered for the loving care and happiness she bestowed on those around her.
Josephine Togliatti of San Martin, CA, passed away on November 28, 2007, at the age of 77. She was born on November 17, 1930, in Pomona, CA, to Carmella Alosi and Rose Puliafico of Palermo, Italy. She was the loving wife to the late Chester Togliatti and loving mother to Rosemary Togliatti, Chester Togliatti Jr. and Dennis Togliatti, all of San Martin, CA, and Mamie Togliatti Gnibus of Carlsbad, CA. She spent her days as a homemaker, caring for her family, including eight grandchildren, and helping with the operations of the family's farm.
Gordon W. Tibbs, Sr., entered into rest at his Hollister home. He was born in Los Angeles and lived in Hollister for over 50 years moving here from Tracy. He and his wife, Maxine, were married in 1952 in San Luis Obispo. He received his bachelors and masters degrees from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and taught at San Benito High School for over 20 years in the Ag Department. He retired in 1975. He served his country honorably in the US Navy and was a member of California Ag Teachers Association and was state president and a member of their hall of fame. He was also a member of the California Retired Teachers Association. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home and did woodcarving. He also attended Calvary Baptist Church and Grace Bible Church in Hollister.
Samuel R. Tenney was born in New Mexico to Nathan and Myrtle Payne Tenney. He married Myrtle Hatch. Samuel was in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He was the golf course superintendent at Holiday Lake Estates, and Sea Ranch Golf Links. He served as a branch president for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his sister Irene Mousley, his wife, Myrtle, two sons; Rey and Sam Tenney, three daughters; Lynn Lawrence, Tamra Palmer, and Lisa Smith.
Shirley was 72, lived in Morgan Hill. She is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy and Terry, and 4 sons, Randy, Doug, Ronnie, and Paul. She was a loving, caring mother, and a wonderful sister to her brothers and sisters. She loved to be with the family and have good times.
John passes away November 21 in South Lake Tahoe. He leaves his mother, Helen Payne, of Morgan Hill, sons; Vaughn of England and Seth of Watsonville, sisters; Bonnie Cherry of Morgan Hill and Karen Hansen of Campbell.
