Jean R. Silva of Morgan Hill, passed away November 15, 2007 in San Jose.

Rebecca M. McGovern of San Juan Bautista died on November 17, 2007 at her home. Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007, at 2:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister.

David M. Velador, Sr. passed away November 15, 2007 in Los Banos, California. Funeral services took place Monday, November 19th in Gilroy. Burial was at St. Mary Cemetery, Gilroy.

Oscar Fernandez passed away in Gilroy on November 15, 2007. A visitation will begin 1 P.M. on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Habing Family Funeral Home, followed by an evening service at 7 P.M. Wednesday morning, grave side services at 10 A.M. at St. Mary Cemetery, Gilroy.

Dale C. Cruz passed away at her Hollister home at the age of 54. She is the wife of Robert A. Cruz.

Ileen Simpson passed away in Hollister on Saturday at the age of 82 years. As per her wishes, private cremation will be held with interment of her cremains in the family plot at Mottsville Cemetery, Douglas County, NV

Born Betty Bernice Rehill, Toronto, Canada. Betty was a Morgan Hill resident from 1976 to 1980, and was a piano teacher. She was the beloved mother of Fred, Louise, and Matthew, mother-in-law of James and cherished grandmother of Dylan and Amber.

Donna Mae Clark entered into rest peacefully at the age of 96 at home in Hollister. She was born in Boone County, IN and is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Clark, in 1982. As a military wife, she traveled the world. She settled in Hollister in 1978 and was active in the Women's Club of Hollister, holding many offices as well as president and was honored as Woman of the Century in the year 2000. She was also an active member of the Republican Women and a member of the Hollister First Presbyterian Church and Bolado Park Women's Nine Hole Club. She was an active golfer, even after she was 90 years old. Her indomitable spirit is a lasting legacy for her family.

Jung Won Kim passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 95 at the Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Korea, coming to Hollister 10 years ago to be with her son Nak Young Hyun and his wife, Margaret Hyun of Hollister. She was the grandmother of Julia Hyun Lee, husband Stephen Lee, of Glen Mills, Pa, and Insoo Hyun. wife Leneigh White. of Strongsville, Ohio, great-grandmother of Morgan Hyun and Dylan Hyun, both of Strongsville and Rachel Lee and David Lee,both of Glen Mills, PA.
