Fred Joseph Leonetti passed away Friday morning at the age of 82 at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister. He was born and lived in San Jose, and came to Hollister in 1989. Fred had been a cobbler for over 50 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Hollister Elk's Lodge. Fred was an avid golfer, belonging to the Ridgemark Golf & Country Club.

Paul R. Rinde, age 80, passed away suddenly at his Morgan Hill home on October 3, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Muffie; son Knute Rinde and his wife Toni of Hollister; grandchildren Tiffany and Richard Helmly of Henderson, NV and Wendy Rinde Solorio of Hollister; great-grandchildren Anthony Cordova, Raeanne, Gabrielle and Madelyn Solorio, Hannah, Jake and Rhet Helmly; sister Lois Jones (Bob) of UT, brother Lloyd (Joan) Rinde of Redwood City, sister-in-law Janet McNamara and her family of CO, brothers-in-law Edward Kiernan of WY and William Kiernan (Jane) of NC. Preceded in death by his parents Dora (Gustin) and Knute Rinde, sister Frances Vickery and brother-in- law Dave McNamara.

Robert Lee DeWitt passed away in Hollister at the age of 56.

Amelia Franco. former resident of San Juan Bautista, passed away Monday. She was the wife of the late John D. Franco.

Robert S. Eckett, of Morgan Hill, peacefully passed in his sleep on September 22, 2007. He was 75.

Lucy Hubman passed away September 30, 2007. She was born in Elm Creek, Nebraska. She spent most of her childhood in Boulder, Colorado. After marrying Edward Hubman, who predeceased her, they moved to Stockton, California where they raised their three children. They loved to play golf and spend time in the backyard watching their children and grandchildren play. Lucy spent the last 2 years in Morgan Hill at Pacific Hills Care Facility.

Carolina was preceded in death by her husband Adolfo, and is survived by her 5 sons, 2 daughters, 19 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is the mother of Father Francisco at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Arabela Rose Barajas died at birth in San Jose. She is the daughter of Jackie Barajas of Hollister.
