Sandra McMillen-Drew was born December 14, 1937 in Mount Auburn IL. She was raised in Mount Auburn and Decatur, IL, and moved to San Jose in 1954. She lived in Morgan Hill for 33 years. She later moved to Oakdale in 1999.
Beloved husband of Dominga Castellano Valdez of Hollister passed away Monday evening at Mabie Skilled Nursing Center Northside at the age of 87 years. Funeral Services are pending. A complete obituary will appear later this week.
Tazu Mary Fugikawa passed away peacefully in Elk Grove, CA, at the age of 98. Born in Spreckles, (Salinas), CA, she was a long time resident of Gilroy. She and her late husband, Harry Fugikawa, farmed in Santa Clara and San Benito counties before and after W.W.II.
Wilbert (Will) Klamm, born in Parkville, Missouri, passed away Saturday morning at 91, at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital of heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Jean, whom he married November 1, 1941. Will also is survived by his daughters: Ginny Ibsen, husband Rob, of Felton, and Judy Gagne, husband Jerry, of Fremont, and a son, Bill Klamm of Roseville. He was the grandfather of Theresa Edwards, husband Steve, and their daughter, Lauren; Roberta Thompson ; Charles Thompson, children, Jordan and Charlie; Tiffanie Gee, and her son David; and Matthew, Benjamin and Kathryn Klamm. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. As per Will's request, he was cremated with a private family gathering at his home celebrating his life.

Dorothy Ehret passed away last Tuesday in Hollister at the age of 93. She was the wife of the late Brick Ehret, mother of the late Mike Ehret, grandmother of Stacie Andrade.
Oscar W. Strong passed away Last Saturday at the age of 93 in Daly City. He was born in Newell, South Dakota, coming to Hollister in the early 1970s. Oscar, along with many years in carpentry work, went to work with Bechtel Construction in Saudia Arabia building oil installations, then later, went to work with the Federal Government at the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey,CA. He later had worked at the Hunter's Point shipyard in San Francisco, where he worked on refurbishing many US Navy vessels. Oscar was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Hollister and the Hollister Elks Lodge, BPOE 1436.
