Ingrid Echeverria passed away August 18th in Rancho Cordova, CA, at the age of 66 years. Ingrid was born in Frankfurt, Germany to Walter Herman and Maria Elisabeth (Beil) Lubow. She was the beloved wife of Edward Echeverria of Rancho Cordova. They were married May 10, 1962. She leaves behind two daughters, Claudia Foley (Dan) of El Dorado Hills, CA and Sonja Echeverria (Darryl Ogawa) of Houston, TX; a son Stephen, of Rancho Cordova; a sister and brother-in-law, Eva Maria and Manfred Heinrich of Frankfurt, Germany and six grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Linda Gale Gomes-Watts passed away August 22, 2007. She is survived by her husband Skip Watts; children, Joe Keller and Marguerite Murphy; mother Marguerite Gomes; sister of Lillian Hill and Bobby Gomes; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Gomes.
Sybol joined her beloved husband, Bill, in heaven, on Wednesday, August 22, 2007, due to heart failure. Loving wife and mother, Sybol has resided in Morgan Hill for 40 years. Sybol owned and operated Beauty Rendezvous in Morgan Hill for 20 years and raised three children, whom she loved very much. She was a family oriented person that loved and cherished her three children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sybol was always there for her family and would stick by them under any circumstance; a straight arrow that kept her family all in line. She was lucky to have four wonderful sisters, and many close friends and family members including her nieces and nephews that all made up her world. Sybol was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother, but most of all she was our best friend. She was loved by many and will never be forgotten. WE LOVE YOU MOM!
Beloved mother of Rod Colman, (Cyndee), of Hollister and Susan Cox, (Dana), of Paso Robles. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive. As per her wishes private cremation and inurnment has been held. Donations to the Cancer Society are preferred, c/o mortuary chapel.
Rodney Ben Villegas, (Uncle Buck or TuTu), was born on May 20, 1960, in Bakersfield, CA. He was a longtime resident of Hollister. He is survived by his wife Delia Correa Villegas of 22 years; daughters Melissa Lovato of Utah, Rosie Villegas of Los Banos, and Venessa Villegas of Hollister. He also was a surrogate father to Evelyn Correa Sifuentez, Christina Correa, Toleen Gonzales and Erica Sanchez, all of Hollister - although he would have supported many more. He was a wonderful grandfather to Elias Villegas and Anthony Guttirez. He was godfather to Nora E. Ureno. He was the brother of Richard Villegas, (Beckey), Rosemary Painter, Erminia M. Dorial, Linda Williams, (Thomas), Joanne Kellogg, (Danny), Janet Schrichfield, (Paul), Juanita Villegas, Billy Villegas, and Rickey Villegas, (Lena). A brother-in-law to Robert, Javier, and Catarino Correa Jr, Mario Correa, (Janice), Jessie Correa, (Victoria), Tonny Correa, (Rosie), Lupe Salcido, Esperanza Martinez, (Henry), Elida Avila, (Bobby), and Antonia Correa, the wife of the late Arturo Correa. A loving son-in-law of Consuelo Correa. He is survived by 69 nieces and nephews, 109 great-nieces and great- nephews, and his pets Rocky, Kizzi, and Jayla. Rodney loved his family very much. He enjoyed spending time with everyone. He loved to go fishing, camping, and watching TV, but most of all just being around his family. Rodney was a HUGE RAIDER FAN!! Please feel free to wear any Raider attire to his services. All other teams colors are welcome also. Rodney was employed at Leatherback Industries for 22 years and presently worked for Maggoria Drilling Co. He was a member of Sacred Heart/St.Benedict Parishes, and Teamsters Local #287 and Local #3.
Frank passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 in O'Connor Hospital, San Jose after a lengthy illness. Husband of Terry S. Luna of Morgan Hill. Father of Frank S. Luna III, Melissa S. Luna both of Morgan Hill. Grandfather of Frank D. Luna IV, Nicholas S. Luna, Nathaniel T. Luna, Jazmine S. Luna and Earl James Luna all of Morgan Hill. Brother of Helen Garcia of Morgan Hill, Richard Luna of San Jose, Gilbert Luna & Gloria Pina both of Hollister, Rudy Luna, Olga Luna, Stella Silva, Ricky Luna & Raymond Luna all of Gilroy and the late Danny Luna & Raymond Luna. Also preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Grace Luna. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Los Angeles, CA.
Norbert Walter Poth died August 18, 2007, from congestive heart failure, hypertension and complications from adult onset diabetes, in Morgan Hill, California.
Opal Marie Felice passed away Aug. 19th in Hollister at the age of 89 years. A native of Freeburg, Illinois, Opal has been a resident of Hollister since 1947. She had been an active member of Sacred Heart Parish, the I. C. F., and the Catholic Ladies Aid Society. A homemaker her adult life, she also had been employed at the original Public Drive In Market; the Central Super Market; and retired from Cadalbert Egg Ranch.
