Theresa Souza died peacefully at home. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel and son Melvin. She leaves behind dauthter-in-law Arlene, grandchildren; Celeste Guest, Darla and Frank Espino, and Mel Souza Jr., great-grandchildren; Caitlin and Kylie Guest and Benjamin Souza. Services Monday August 13, 2007 at 11 A.M. at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
Shirley M. Telles died in Hollister at the age of 74. She is the mother of Joe Telles of Hollister and Jacqueline Telles of Fremont. Private family services are planned. Interment: Calvary Cemetery.
Serena Marie Connery passed away Monday morning in Hollister. She is survived by her 4 children, Robby and Joey Silva of Gilroy and Sierra and Tommy Dias of Stevenson. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, August 11 at 10 A.M. in the Guadalupe Chapel at Mission San Juan Bautista.
Evy passed away at Pacific Hills Manor at the age of 96. She was born in Croton NY. She was a retired Receiver of Taxes with the state of NY and came to live with her brother Bill, his wife Hetty and their daughter Carol, in Morgan Hill in 1970. She is survived by her sister-in-law Hetty, and her nephew Tony, in Morgan Hill.
Constance Henman, 84, a former long time resident of Morgan Hill, CA, passed away July 11, 2007 in Oak Harbor, WA, after a very short but courageous fight against brain cancer. She was born in La Haciendita, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Ponciano and Ermelinda (Gomez) Rodriguez. She lived in Texas, Nebraska, Arizona, Washington, and California, eventually relocating back to Washington in 1998. She met and married Richard Henman in 1952. She was primarily a homemaker during the early years of their marriage, but later sold World Book Encyclopedias, Amway, and Avon, door to door. While residing in Morgan Hill, CA, she worked at Gilroy Foods, and was best known for selling antiques and collectables at her garage sales and at the Morgan Hill Flea Market.
