His wife, Satsuko, children, Lori Ann (Greg), and Ron (Karen), and grandchildren, Shawn, Brandon, Ryan, and Max will miss him dearly.

Jean L. Chance, a former resident of San Bernardino, passed away peacefully at her home in Hollister. She was 83.

Herman H. Vasquez passed away last Tuesday afternoon at the age of 76 at the Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility. A native of Atwood, CA, Herman came to Hollister 19 years ago. He had been a foster grandparent to children through a program administered by the state of California and formerly was a cemetery caretaker.

Robin W. Diplock passed away in Sebastopol at the age of 94. At her request, there will be no services. Private cremation with private interment at San Juan District Cemetery in San Juan Bautista, CA through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory.

Mary Pelissero, a resident of Morgan Hill, passed away on July 11, 2007.

Jean L. Chance passed away Friday morning at home in Hollister at the age of 83. She was a native of Illinois. She is survived by her daughter, Jonean Chance of Hollister.

Lyle was born on June 23, 1946 and passed away on July 12, 2007 in Fresno, CA. He was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Lyle moved to CA with his wife Jeanie in the late 60's. While living in Salinas, Jeanie gave birth to their only child, Paul. Lyle began work at Hewlett Packard in 1973. After the passing of his wife Jeanie in 2001, Lyle retired and moved from Morgan Hill to Madera in 2003. Lyle was well known for his vast collections of Antiques and historic memorabilia, his ability to make anyone laugh and his constant "Reminder to Keep Your Chin Up".

Sharon Maddox, age 57, died July 7. Sharon graduated Gilroy High School in 1967. She lived and worked in Gilroy, CA. She is survived by her son, Don Cullmber of Morgan Hill, CA, her sister, Diane Stillman of Gig Harbor, WA and stepmother, Victoria Gobroski. Internment July 20, 10:00 A.M., St Mary's Cemetary.
