Kathy of Kilauea, Hawaii, formerly of Morgan Hill, peacefully entered into rest on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital with her family by her side. She lost her two month battle with breast cancer that had metastasized to her liver.
Patricia J. Long, 70, of Morgan Hill, passed away suddenly and will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Robert C. Long; brother, Charles Canny; 4 loving children, Lori, Bob, Karen & Kelly; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; cousins; and many nieces & nephews.
Passed away on June 20, 2007 while at home in San Jose surrounded by loved ones after a long and heroic struggle against pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband Sid, daughter Nicole age 11, and son Justin age 8; her parents Don and Beth, brother Jeff, and niece Mary.
On June 28, 2007, Ed was called home to the awaiting arms of loved ones gone before, who include his parents, brother Edward Geddie, sister Effie Geddie and his beloved wife and companion of 58 years, Louise Geddie. He leaves behind 3 sons; Jerry (Kathryn) of Tucson, Arizona, Larry (Diana) of Lincoln, CA and Roy (Sharon) of Gilroy, CA., as well as his sister Minnie Bonham of Los Gatos, CA.
Donna was born and raised in Hollister, CA. It was there where she met and eventually married Doug, her husband of 35 years. In 1982 the couple moved to Modesto with their two sons, Ryan and Mark, and shortly after had Matthew, the youngest. Fulfilling a lifelong passion for Dance, Donna taught at Juline's School of Dance for over 16 years
Margaret Buchanan Terry, of Morgan Hill, went to her Lord peacefully in her sleep on June 23, 2007. Margaret was born in Decatur, Alabama, on August 21, 1921. She and her husband brought their four children to California and lived in San Jose where their fifth child was born before moving to Morgan Hill. She was very active with the First Baptist Church on Main Street and was the treasurer for many years. She was also an Avon Lady for 48 years.
Passed away in Hollister. She was born in Fresno and lived in Hollister for the last 13 years. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Margaret Macias and Joe Huerta of Hollister, her father, Jose Macias of Fresno, her brother, Christopher Jose Macias of Hollister and her grandparents; Evelina and Raymond Padilla of Fresno and Reina and Jesse Macias of Fresno, her cousins; Destiny Melendez of Fresno and Delilah Melendez of San Jose and all of her family that includes aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rita Togliatti Angelino passed away June 24, 2007. She was 95 years of age. She is survived by her children; John and wife Pauline Togliatti of Hughson, CA, Arnold and wife Shirley Togliatti of Gilroy and Debra Togliatti of Mountain View, stepmother of Geraldine Meacham, and Laura and Frank Angelino of Gilroy, grandmother of Vicki, Denise, Melinda, DeAnna, Gina and David, great-grandmother of Gianna, Rachel, Anthony, Gus, Luke, Francesca, Dominic, Jenna, Bradley, William, Dominic, and Matthew. Also survived by her sister Margaret Piedmont and numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Gilroy, she has been a resident for over 90 years. She was a member of St. Mary Church, ICF, WITS and very active in the Gilroy Senior Center. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, June 28, 2007 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Donations to the Gilroy Senior Center in her memory are preferred and appreciated.
Steve Churchill died on June 14th from brain cancer at age 66. He was the rock of his family and friends and leaves a legacy of laughter and wisdom behind. He always greeted life as an adventure. He is survived by his wife, Cathy, his daughters; Chris and Deb, his son, Mike, and seven grandchildren.
