Michael A. Yarbrough died as a result of a motor vehicle accident at the age of 36 years. Arrangements are pending at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. A full obituary will appear in Wednesday's paper.

Jose (Joey) F. Hernandez

Jose (Joey) F. Hernandez entered into Heaven April 27th, 2007 in Hollister at the age of 48 after a long battle with cancer. He was born and raised in San Jose and moved to Hollister with his wife Virginia to raise their three beautiful daughters. Joey was a talented fast pitch softball pitcher and became a wonderful coach and pitching instructor. He worked for PG&E for 27 years, where he was loved by all who knew him. Joey had a strong faith and trust in God which he tried to pass on to everyone. He will be missed by his wife Virginia and daughters Danielle, Amy, and Mary Hernandez. Also by his mother Mary Jane Hernandez, sister and brother in law Kathy and Steve Pedroza, grandson Keanu Hernandez and many nieces, nephews, and relatives. Joey is preceded in death by his beautiful daughter Faith and his loving father Jose.

Joe Hernandez, loving spouse of Virginia Hernandez, passed away at his residence at the age of 48 years with his family at his side. Joey has worked for PG&E since 1979 as well as volunteered as a softball coach for the Hollister Heat for many years. Please look for a complete obituary in Tuesday, May 1st's newspaper.

Dennis Charles Conley

Dennis Charles Conley (Uncle Den) passed away in Hollister on April 26, 2007. He was born in McKeesport, PA. He was a long time resident of San Benito County. Dennis was the loving father of Justin and Jessica Conley of Pittsburgh, PA, brother of Frank Conley, sister-in-law PeeJay Conley of Hollister, CA. brother-in-law to Walt Waterman of North Versailles, PA, uncle to Debra Lotz of Hollister, Kenneth Lotz of Pittsburgh PA, Joe Conley of Reno, NV and Melanie Christensen of Ben Lomond, great-uncle to Shawn and Eric Mitchell of Hollister, Kenny, Roxanne, Natalie and Julianne Lotz of Pittsburgh, PA, Caitlin and Eddie Garcia and Stevie Christensen of Ben Lomond, and Kelley Conley of Reno, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Conley and Frances Hunt and by his sister Patricia Waterman.

Wanda J. Lewis

Born to Lloyd and Amy Thomas in Guymon, OK, she and her twin brother, Wade, were the 2nd and 3rd of eleven children.

Charles F. Marcus

Charles F. Marcus passed away in Gilroy. He was born in Hollister and was a lifetime resident. He served his country honorably in WWII in the US Navy. A past member of Hollister Elks Lodge and was a rancher all of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet, who died in 1994.

Lillie Harietta Anderson Marcheski

Lillie Harietta Anderson Marcheski passed away in Hollister. She was born in Blue Earth, MN to Gustave and Sara Anderson and received her nursing degree from the University of Minneapolis and later became a certified nurse anethesist. She and her twin sister, Lilla, joined the Red Cross at the start of WWII and then joined the army and served with the 166 Evac. Hospital Unit in New Guinea. Later, she joined the Air Force and retired as a Major. She then worked at the VA Hospital in Fresno as chief anethesist until she retired in 1975. She married her husband, Jack Marcheski, in December of 1975 and pursued her interest in photography. She was a member of The Photographic Society of America, Hollister Camera Club and Central Coast Counties Camera Club. She was a four star exhibitor in both nature and pictorial slides in the Photographic Society of America competition. She enjoyed traveling on photo trips with Jack and also to Jack's antique auto and classic car club meets.

Barbara Jean Neill

Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Neill, 57, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2007, in San Antonio. She was born on July 10, 1949, in Santa Barbara, CA, to George and Barbara Huskey. Bobbie will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, a devoted and caring wife, and a delightful friend to all who knew her. An avid reader, she was happiest with a good book and her husband by her side.

Julius (Yehudi) Sepulveda

Julius "Yehudi" Sepulveda passed away at his residence on Saturday ,April 21st ,with his family by his side. "Yehudi", as he was effectionally called, was a native of Hollister. He attended local schools and San Benito High School. He was a 46 year member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 3 of Morgan Hill. Yehudi was a heavy equipment operator for Mark Nicholson Construction Company for 38 years. He enjoyed the out-of-doors, riding motorcycles on and off road in his younger years, as well as spending time in the hills hunting here or in northeastern Nevada.
