Faustino R. Hernandez, beloved husband of Elvira Hernandez for 60 years, passed away in the arms of his daughter, Beatriz, peacefully, surrounded by his family. "I love my dad very much and will miss him deeply".
Born November 9, 1944 in Michoacán, MX , Isidro came to the United States at the age of 17, and lived most of his working days in San Benito County. Friends and family alike remember him as a man who loved horses, cattle, his beloved dogs, and in the evenings would enjoy his "shot of Crown Royal".
Lydia Kelly, 81, of Gilroy, died March 10, 2007 in Gilroy. She was the loving wife of the late John Patrick Kelly and dear mother of John A. Kelly of Gilroy and Robert M. Kelly of Springville, CA., and the late William A. Kelly. Lydia was the mother-in-law of Sarah and Rose Kelly, and grandmother of Matthew and Philip
Kendall Pine, as he was known by both friends and family, was born in Berkeley, California, grew up in Morgan Hill and lived his life in the beautiful Santa Clara Valley. He graduated from Morgan Hill High School where his father was principal and his future wife was student body president. The love of his life, Lillian Herback and he enjoyed 63 wonderful years of marriage. In 1950 they settled in Gilroy, renovating an 1860's historical home. He attended UC Berkeley and graduated from San Jose State. During his college years he enjoyed his work with the Public Health Department.
Robert Pulido, formerly of Morgan Hill, passed away in Sabinal, Texas on March 7th. He is survived by his mother, Genoveva and one sister, Elsa, both of Sabinal, and one brother, David Pulido of San Jose, also several nieces and nephews.
Thomas C. Comstock was born in Utica, New York, son of the late Ira M. Comstock, MD, and the late Sarah Clark Comstock. Relatives still living include his sister, Beatrice C. Wiltsie of Gilroy, his niece, Carol L. and her husband, Takashi Jio, great-niece Elizabeth and her husband, Christopher Tiernan, of Gilroy, and great- nephew, Christopher Jio of San Jose. A nephew, Ward Comstock, lives in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Alicia F. Gandaria, beloved wife of Ignacio Gandaria, loving mother of Maria G. Rangel, Martha G. Ruiz, Ignacio Gandaria Jr. and Antonio Gandaria entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in McAllen, Texas at the age of 67.
Ismael passed away Tuesday, February 13,2007, at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Emma Ochoa, daughters: Cecilia Ochoa, Elizabeth Gamez, sons: Ismael Jr. and Richard Ochoa, 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughters: Ida Ochoa & Delia Duarte & by son Arturo Ochoa. He was brother to Wilfredo,Luis III, Ray & Carlos Ochoa, sisters Alicia Montes, Margarita Rosales, Lucila Morales, Amelia Herrera, Rosa Zubia, Elva Ochoa, Lilly Jimenez, Rita Herrera & Gloria Lopez.
