Gilroy Police made numerous arrests Jan. 17-25, including for robberies, theft, DUI and hit and trespassing.

Felony inflicting corporal injury on a spouse

• Jessie Salinas, 26, Jan. 17 at 2:42 p.m. at the intersection of Sixth and Eigleberry Streets for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse.

Intoxicating liquor in public

• James Leigh, 47, Jan. 17 at 12 noon at the intersection of Sixth and Rosanna streets for intoxicating liquor in a public place.

Unlawful possession of a shopping cart

• Carlos Aispuro, 59, Jan. 20 at 1:32 p.m. on the 7800 block of Church Street for unlawful possession of a shopping cart.

Possession of narcotics

• Andrea Einhorn 22, Jan. 18 at 4 p.m. on the 700 block of First Street for possession of narcotics and paraphernalia and also for petty theft.

Possession of a controlled substance

• Michael Ahmed, 38, Jan. 21 at 2:50 p.m. on the 7500 block of Rogers Lane for possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance, false imprisonment, violation of protective order, possession of a hypodermic needle/syringe, battery against a spouse and vandalism.
• Jason Kaiser, 33, Jan. 24 at 7:57 a.m. on the 100 block of First Street for possession of narcotics and parole violation.

Driving/taking a vehicle without owner’s permission

• Ashley Flores, 23, Jan. 18 at 10:37 p.m. on the 7000 block of Maple Street for felony driving/taking an owner’s vehicle without permission.

Contempt of court

• Johnny Mungia, 54, Jan. 18 at 1:32 a.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for contempt of court and parole hold.

Burglary

• Thomasina Clay, 29, Jan. 20 at 4:14 p.m. on the 8500 block of Kelton Drive for burglary and petty theft with three priors.
• Yovanni Grijalva, 21, Jan. 23 at 1:58 p.m. at the intersection of Sixth and Chestnut Streets for first degree burglary and contempt of court.

Possession of marijuana

• Jimmy Prado, 25, Jan. 22 at 5:58 p.m. on the 6700 block of Filbro Drive for possession of over 28.5 grams of marijuana.

Robbery

• Lorie Bustinza, 33, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. on the 770 block of Wren Avenue for robbery.

Petty theft

• Misty Witt, 18, Jan. 17 at 3:36 p.m. on the 800 block of First Street for petty theft.
• Eduardo Sanchez, 32, Jan. 21 at 4:15 p.m. on the 100 block of Third Street for petty theft with 3 or more priors.
• Carmen Betancourt, 40, Jan. 22 at 6:45 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for petty theft.
• Mitchell Youtsay, 19, Jan. 24 at 10:37 a.m. on the 7800 block of Monterey Street for petty theft.

Grand theft

• Luis Casillas, 18, Jan. 21 at 10:26 p.m. on the 9200 block of Wren Avenue for grand theft of personal property.

• Judy Cararanza, 48, Jan. 18 at 12:03 a.m. on the 8000 block of Monterey Road for being under the influence of and being in possession of a controlled substance.
• Jessica Casas, 21, Jan. 18 at 2:28 p.m. on the 760 block of Church Street for use and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
• Jacqueline Rojo, 54, Jan. 19 at 4:20 p.m. on the 1200 block of Juniper Drive for being under the influence of controlled substance and for vandalism.
• Santiago Ayala, 21, Jan. 20 at 9:15 a.m. on the 7400 block of Monterey Road for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of narcotics.
• William Reisert, 55, Jan. 22 at 10:45 a.m. on the 1300 block of First Street for being under the influence of a controlled substance, trespassing, assault and battery, and intoxicating liquor in public.
• Sergio Roman, 24, Jan. 22 at 3:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Martin Avenue for use and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

• Paul Piaza, 38, Jan. 21 for 4:30 p.m. on the 8100 block of Monterey Road for driving under the influence of alcohol.
• Thomas Weymouth, 45, Jan. 22 at 1:54 p.m. at the intersection of Third and Carmel Streets for being under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended/revoked license.
• Antoinette Orosco, 21, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for driving under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended license.
• Billy Gidding, 31, Jan. 24 at 4:47 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Threats to commit a crime
