CALLER 1: Hi, I’m calling to report about my son, Ryan Russo, who has been in wrestling for approximately two months and has won the previous two weeks in a row in wrestling matches in his class. He took home first place in both tournaments, one last week at Gilroy High School and (this past weekend) at Silver Creek High School. He won all four matches in each tournament and took home first place. He’s only seven years old and he only weighs 49 pounds and he kicks butt with all those opponents. We’re just so proud because he’s only been wrestling for two months. Thank you.

CALLER 2: I would like to thank Jim Johnson for an outstanding article on the swimmers from the Gilroy Gators swim team in the March 30 newspaper. The kids work very hard and its good to see the Dispatch recognize their dedication. There is a picture of Daniel Shields, my son, on page B1 of sports section. My compliments to the photographer, this is one of the best action pictures of my son swimming I have seen.
