Head coach Kaden Bahner said his group came out “100 times better” against Alvarez on Friday afternoon than it did in Thursday’s loss to Harbor at the 31st annual Bob Hagen Memorial Tournament.

But despite the elevated play, and a familiarity with the Eagles, the Cougars ended up on the losing and of a 65-49 contest.

The Cougars wrap up their tournament at 1:30 p.m today against North County.
