Judy Hess gets help from Hannah Underwood, 9 to find herbs at the Gilroy Demonstration Garden

Have you ever wanted to learn to make your own healing teas, tinctures and lotions? Maybe you’re looking for a unique gift for that special someone this holiday season?

If so, the Gilroy Demonstration Garden could be the perfect place.

Instructor Cindy Gobin – who has trained under seasoned artisans and crafters who know how to concoct herbal remedies  – will teach participants how to make healing teas, tinctures and lotions from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Gilroy Demonstration Garden, located on Eigleberry Street between Sixth and Seventh streets near downtown.

Cost is $20 and includes lunch.
