Helen passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday evening, April 17th surrounded by family members. Affectionately known as “Bahba” by family and friends, she will be remembered for her devotion to her family and the joy she brought to everyone’s life she encountered.
A recent resident to Gilroy, Helen lived in Redwood City for over 30 years prior to her move here. She is survived by sons Al Howard (spouse Jane)and Dick Howard (spouse Kathy); six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a niece and two nephews.
As per her wishes private interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. A memorial celebration of Helen’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26th, at 1:00 P.M. at LaVigna located at Hecker Pass Winery. Contributions in her memory are preferred to Hospice of the Valley 4850 Union Ave. San Jose.
