The Ballers snapped a losing streak with a 16-6 decision over South County Hammers. Jason Brindle went 3-for-4 with a home run, Ryan Souza cracked a triple and two singles, Debbie Cupp three singles for the Ballers. George Espinoza and Cesar Lopez each singled and tripled for the Hammers.
Spencer Straub and Mark Logan each mustered four hits to lead State Farm Insurance Big Kahunas by Spirit of Morgan Hill 14-9. Ray Abeyta went 3-for-4 for the Spirit.
Team Hair FX upset California Chop Shop 21-7 Sunday to leave three teams at 3-2 entering the final night of Co-Rec B League play.
Gilbert Ramirez launched a home run, three doubles and two singles for Team Hair FX, the first-half C champion. Willie Gamboa homered and singled for the Shop. Feather Haven Mill, Chicks N’ Sticks and the Shop share first place.
Good Fellas earned the second-half Men’s BB title Friday at Las Animas Park with a 21-6 victory over Aladdin Bail Bonds-Rhino Wiring.
Cameron Bautista and Stevie Martinez each belted two home runs as the Fellas completed the half at 5-1. Good Fellas will play D. A. Wolfe Construction in next month’s best 2-of-3 Championship Series.
Rich Perez went 3-for-3 for the winners, Ryan Dequin and Isaac Hernandez each 2-for-2 for Aladdin-Rhino, the CC first-half titlist.
Willie Gamboa and Steve Gonzalez each homered and Will Lawrence went 3-for-3 as Dee’z Nutz upset State Farm Insurance 13-11. Mitch MacVicar went 5-for-5, Brent Boyd 4-for-5 for the Insurance offense.
