Sheriff’s Office detectives have identified an article of
clothing worn by a homicide victim recovered March 7 off of
Beardsley Road, according to the Sheriff’s Office of Santa Clara
County.
Sheriff’s Office detectives have identified an article of clothing worn by a homicide victim recovered March 7 off of Beardsley Road, according to the Sheriff’s Office of Santa Clara County.
About 6 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Black Road and Beardsley Road in the Los Gatos Mountains on a report of possible human bones off to the side of the road, according to the Sheriff’s Office of Santa Clara County. At the time of her death, the victim was wearing a Coogi hooded sweatshirt.
A local man, who was in the area collecting cans for recycling, discovered the bones. The man called the Sheriff’s Office to report his discovery shortly after. Upon the arrival of the deputies they were directed to the area where the bones were located.
