Hoops: Both Rams teams lose again on road

Andreinna Castaneda and Tawne Haynish scored nine points each, but Gavilan College’s women’s basketball team suffered a 72-40 loss at the College of San Mateo on Wednesday night.

The loss dropped the Rams to 1-18 overall and 0-6 in the Coast Conference.

In men’s basketball, Gavilan lost 88-53 at Hartnell on Wednesday night to fall to 3-15 overall and 0-6 in conference.
