Christopher High’s girls basketball team was rewarded for its historic season when two Cougars recently received Monterey Bay League Gabilan Division honors.
Christopher senior wing Hanna Tabron was named first-team all-league, and junior point guard Cydney Caradonna received second-team honors. The duo helped the Cougars (16-7) reach the Central Coast Section Division III quarterfinals for the first time in program history this season.
Gilroy High junior guard Brianna Barron and junior forward Holly Lam received MBL Pacific Division Honorable Mention recognition. An MBL Pacific Sportsmanship Award went to Gilroy senior Charlenne Medina.
