If you enjoyed The Incredibles – the newest animated flick from Pixar – then you are in luck this season as a whole lineup of animated features are being released in rapid succession. The Polar Express, a holiday film featuring the voice of Tom Hanks, opened Nov. 10, and is quickly followed by the much anticipated, or perhaps dreaded, opening of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie on Nov. 19.
If animation isn’t exactly your thing, there are plenty of other options.
Seed of Chucky (Nov, 12) will satisfy horror fans, while action buffs can look forward to National Treasure, starring Nicolas Cage, which sounds vaguely Indiana-Jones-ish and opens Nov. 19. The Bridget Jones sequel, The Edge of Reason, also opening on Nov. 19, fills the romantic comedy niche. For those craving an epic, Alexander, starring Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie, and Anthony Hopkins, opens on Nov. 24.
Finally, a heads up to all the Johnny Depp lovers out there, Finding Neverland was released Nov. 12, and stars the handsome Captain Jack Sparrow himself, as well as the lovely Kate Winslet.
