 John passed away peacefully in Owosso, Michigan. Born in England, John immigrated to the US and was a decorated veteran of the Korean War. After graduating from UC Berkeley, John was a partner in Hughan & Hughan Architects. John designed many custom homes and commercial buildings in Santa Clara County. All his life John loved solving puzzles, reading books, and telling a story always with a twinkle in his eye. John is survived by his wife Joan, his three children Wade (Jane) Hughan, Gwyneth (Edward) Sauceda, and Robert (Debbie) Hughan, and five grandchildren. Memorials contributions are suggested to the Yosemite Conservancy.
