days before her 67th birthday.

A native Santa Rosalia, Baja Sur, Mexico, Mrs. Mariscal moved to Gilroy 38 years ago from Mexico and has been a resident ever since. She worked at Gilroy Foods in the 1960s and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Gilroy. She loved to play Bingo at various places and was an Avon representative for many years.
Mrs. Mariscal is the wife of Frank Mariscal of Gilroy; the mother of Dora Mancilla and her husband, Jorge of San Diego, Irma Fregoso of Texas , and Eduardo Nunez and his wife, Anita of Mexico; the grandmother of Gabriel and David Gonzalez; and many others in Mexico and Texas. She was preceeded in death by her two brothers and two sisters. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
