Los High Tops will play the Friday Night Music Series on July 9 downtown on West Second Street, 7-9 p.m. Band members hail from Morgan Hill, Gilroy and Santa Cruz. Los High Tops wrote and recorded the music currently playing on Hotwire.com’s national TV commercials.
The band plays surfabilly music, which combines early rockabilly, with surf music and jump blues. The sound evokes the early sound of rock ‘n’ roll – when country first mixed with blues, R&B and other American music styles. Many of the songs in Los High Tops’ repertoire are original.
