to the late John and Kathleen Sergi.

Born on August 22, 1954, in Gilroy, he was the third child born to the late John and Kathleen Sergi.
Mr. Sergi was baptized and raised in the Catholic Church in Morgan Hill,.
He attended and graduated from Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill. While in high school he played the trumpet and participated on the basketball team. He furthered his education at Chico State College.
Mr. Sergi lived most of his life in the house that he grew up in. He loved the green fields, the blossoming fruit trees and the rows of strawberries across the street from his house. He helped with farming his father’s land and took great pride in it.
Mr. Sergi loved and lived life and enjoyed taking rides through the country, meandering thruough the hillsides, drive down to Santa Barbara or just go into town. Music and photography were also importantparts of his life.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Sergi; sister, Karen Sergi; nephew, James Sergi II; nieces, Jamie Sergi and Tiffani Hawkins; and his uncle Paul and aunt Mary. He also leaves the Mosso family, who were all always important tohim.
Mr. Sergi also leaves several people who were very special inhis life, Cheryl Benz, Louise Mariani, his cousin Debbie Diehl, and many lifelong friends.
He was preceeded in death by his sister Janet Sergi.
Those he loved and those who loved him will dearly miss him and his sense of humor.
Private family services have been held under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
